Documentation and verification are yet to be
compiled but current references will be posted on
Solomon List soon.
The Garrett family of Gillespie Co., Tx 1880
included D.B. Garrett (Drew Barrow Garrett) b July
1823 GA, wife Martha Maria (Roberts) Garrett b June
1836 GA. It seems Mary Jane Solomon and Martha Maria
Garrett were sisters. Martha Maria's daughter Mary
Adaline Garrett b Aug 9, 1878 married William Lawrence
George b July 21, 1880 (Mary Jane's grandson).
It is yet to be seen but all indications are that
D.B. Garrett and Godwin Solomon were good friends, it
is believed that D.B. purchased his (adjoining) land
from Godwin and it's my personal belief that the
families traveled to TX together.
There is also another connection to the Gasgon
family but without any reference at this time, I'll do
no more then wet interests.
