Did any of you make it to the George Reunion yesterday (Aug 4 2002) in Lebanon?

Descendants of Reuben and Ann (Handley) George used to meet the 2nd Sunday
in August at Richmond, IN, across the state line and north a bit from the Butler
County Ohio homestead.

A good number of the George's being farm families, we would have out-of-this-
world fried chicken, home grown vegetables, ham, and desserts. I always looked
forward to the mid-afternoon trip - after the adults had their family news exchanges
and meeting - to go get lots of ice cream for the kids.

The reunion has changed to the first Sunday of August now, along with the location
(Lebanon, OH) and people who come (mostly descendants of Russell and Ruth
George).

But I always remember...
