Subject: [GEORGE] Has a George Male in your line done the DNA Test?
Date: Sun, 17 Aug 2008 10:00:47 -0600

George Researchers, let's help one another break down those remaining
barriers and walls to our research. We need more participants than the 40 we
already have to make this work. Even with those we have, there have been
some fantastic results in linking or proving a non link. If you are a George
surname male, please do the DNA test for your George line. If you are a
George female, please have a George male relative in your line do the test.
It is simple, non-intrusive...just swab the inside of your jaw....and mail
back to the lab. It is much cheaper now at $99 than when it was when the
project began, and you can spend that much on library photocopies of George
families that are not even related to you. Please check the below website on
results obtained thus far in linking George families, as well excluding
those you think may have been related. That Y chromosome remains about the
same for up to 14 generations in the male line, and can prove that you and
another researcher share a common George ancestor. As a minimum it will
significantly narrow your research. So please help us with this.
