When George I became King of England in 1714 he brought The House of Hanover (Germany) into the line of the Royal Family and the British Monarch thereafter often relied on Hessian troops to fill the ranks of the British Army in wars in Scotland, Ireland and America.
Of course, von Stueben was on the right side in the American Revolution.

Does anyone have a connection with the George line that settled in Tazewell County Virginia?
