Court houses, funeral homes, cemeterys. Books will depend on the area of the country. I have many books from the eastern shoreboard. I use everything I can get my hands on including knocking on doors

Subject: [GEORGE] Any George Resources to Recommend?

Hello all,
The recent flurry of activity on this list has really inspired me to do
better on my research. But I think I am in a rut. I use ancestry.com a lot,
but I know there just has to be better--or as good as--resources to tap.
What books or books do you recommend I get my hands on? How about other
sites, whether online, or real, brick and mortar sites (like courthouses,
etc.) -- any you can recommend?
