Although I grew up in a nearby county, I am not familiar with this family of
Georges. Possible this marriage item will be of interest to someone.

Herde--George.
Mr. August L. HERDE and Miss Susie GEORGE were united in as husband and wife
November 15, 1905, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Marion
George, in the Carl neighborhood. The ceremony was performed by Rev. J. Wykert
at 7 o'clock in the evening in the presence of a few immediate friends.
Supper was served by Mrs. George and the occasion was one long to be remembered
for the pleasure of the evening. Mr. and Mrs. Herde will be at home to their
friends in the pleasant home that Mr. Herde has prepared on Rural Route 1,
south of Soldier. We wish them much happiness and a prosperous journey through
life.
