This is so close not to be my ggfather also but the dod if about 5-6 yrs too soon. Do you have proof of his date of death? I'm looking for the father, Edgar Sumner George, of Allen Sumner George, the naming pattern is so close.

Edgar Sumner George was born in French Creek, Upshur County, West Virg. on
ct. 09, 1860. He was married June 13, 1879 in Blue Earth County, Mn.
is Dad was Thomas Allen George born Feb. 03, 1836 in Greenbrier County, WV.
e lived in WV., MN and SD. Died and buried Gettysburg, SD 2-20-1893.
homas is my Great Grandfather. Tom George, Seattle.
