Hello Nix Cousins and GA Rooters...

I'm looking for the parents of Edward NIX... b. ca 1833 in GA
(Talbot or Muscogee County?) married Mary SKINNER (b. ca 1840 in GA) around
1860-65, probably in Muscogee County. Their first (I think) son, Joseph
Eligia NIX born in 1865 in Columbus, GA. Anyone recognize these people?
This is my most frustrating brick wall... Found them on 1870 in Rusk County,
TX... they died around 1875 (per family stories), leaving 5 orphans who were
"divied up" by strangers (apparently, not sure). Any help appreciated.
