I have Davis, and not much, at that. I need info on my gg grandfather, James
Davis, who was a doctor. I don't know when or where he was born, but I would
guess he was b abt 1860 in the South. I have a family portrait of James, his
wife Minnie, and their children Pat, Cassie, and Gordon. Gordon, whose first
name may have been William, was my g grandfather. This pic was taken in 1897
in Eufaula, AL. But I don't know where they were before then. Either James or
Minnie was supposedly part Cherokee. All info on this family is appreciated.
