I want to put my two cents worth in on this library. I have visited
all the libraries in the metro Atlanta Area and Washington library in
Macon beats them all. for those of you who have Ancestors who lived in
SC don't miss the microfilm files of Leonardo Andrea who was a 1940
vintage professional Genealogist whose files were donated by his
daughter after his death to be microfilmed and used by the public,
these files are in Macon. Also if you have Ancestors from NC don't
miss the Mamie McKubbin files on Microfilm, same story as Andrea but
in NC. Your family is probably in these files if your Ancestors came
from the Carolinas. Charles.
