Our Fall Oktoberfest meeting will be Saturday October 20, 2001 from
11:00
A.M. to 3:00 P.M. at the Dobson Ranch Park in Mesa. Our sustenance will
be brats, sauerkraut, rolls, salad and dessert. The brats, sauerkraut
and
rolls will be provided by the Chapter. The attendees are asked to
provide
the salad and dessert. A-K bring dessert and L - Z bring salad. Bring
own table service, beverage and card table.

Meeting Details
When: October 20, 11:00 A.M. - 3:00 P.M.
Where: Dobson Ranch Park, Mesa. Southeast Corner of Dobson Rd. and Los
Largos Vista. Enter Park; go south past library; go east to unload;
return car to parking lot.

We have secured a covered picnic area with four sizeable tables. There
are no electric outlets but restrooms are nearby.

Last year we asked for a $2.00 contribution from each person but that
resulted in a loss. It will be necessary to ask for a $5.00
contribution
per person to defray the cost.

We will ask each of those who attended either or both conventions this
summer give a report. If anybody has something else to share, you will
be asked to do so.

Directions to the Park:
If you approach the area by the Superstition Freeway (US 60) exit at
Dobson, go South and continue across Baseline After Baseline, the first
traffic light will be at W. Lindner Ave. The second traffic light will
be Los Lagos Vista. Turn left at that Los Lagos Vista traffic light and
park anywhere in the parking area. Try to get as far down to the South
end as possible. (To unload your vehicle, you may continue south in the
parking area past the library. Immediately after you pass the library
and before you reach the Mesa Police station there will be a stop sign.
Turn left at that stop sign. You will see a sign "City Vehicles Only"
but continue on anyway to the far back and park next to the grassy area
from where you can see the picnic cover and tables. There you can
unload. Do not stay there, you must return your car to the parking lot
in front after unloading.) There will be signs posted directing you.
