Here's a question for Vera et al. On my great great uncle's ship's list, he
is listed as from Nowousensk. Could this be Novouzensk? Was this a village
as well as a district? Has anyone heard of this place? Many of these
passengers went on to Fresno, CA, however they were listed as being from
Warenburg.

Can anyone solve this riddle?
