> He was born Oct. 2, 1940, at Windsor Memorial Hospital in Windsor to Dave

> Mr. Kraus was raised on his grandparents' farm, now the location of
Windsor
> High School. When he was 10 years old, his family moved north of Windsor,
> where he worked with his parents farming until he was 17.
> In 1959, he married Darlene Kerbel in Durango. They later divorced.
> Mr. Kraus farmed and fed cattle with his father from 1960-70. From

> he worked at Eastman Kodak, where he learned to run heavy equipment. In
