of their Volga village". Nice idea! Nola in KS

Our "Katie" Dahlinger (a widow with a little daughter Clara, born December 1905) came from Rosenberg, Volga, Russia, when Clara was 5 years old.
I would like to know a little history, and the present name of Rosenberg, if some one can tell me that!
Is there anyone named Dahlinger living there today?

Ted gave this information: "Josefstal was also called "Schwab kuhtor", which means farm of Schwab.
Even though the village was officially formed in 1852, Church records show
people were being born in "Schwab kuhtor" in 1850".

Our "Katie" Dahlinger married George P. Schwab in Shattuck, OK 17 January 1910.
George P. Schwab's parents lived in Shchertovbakov, Saratov, Volga, Russia.
George P. Schwab (2nd husband of our "Katie") was born there --- is "Schwab kuhtor" in that same area? near Josefstal?

Thanks, everyone, Nola in KS
