Hello all!

I was amazed at how many people have responded with requests to check the
founding family list for the Chernigov district. That got me to thinking.
I'm curious how many people just on this list are still hunting for
locations that their families came from? Do you perhaps have ties to the
Volga on one side and unknown on the other? Or do you have only family lore
to go by that your family came from the Volga but you can't locate their
names on any Volga information so you still aren't sure if they are from the
Volga or not?

I'd be interested to hear responses on these questions. I am thinking that
perhaps response through the list might help us all understand what we are
facing regarding research in this area.
