Acy Oliver Delaughter Jr. of Loveland, CO passed away May 27, 2006. He
was born July 3, 1929 to Acy Delaughter Sr. and Eunice Lavine in
Ponchatoula, Louisiana. Acy grew up in Ponchetula where he attended school.

He enlisted in the U.S. Army in June of 1944. He married Rachel* Bath*
in Loveland, Colorado on November 6, 1949. Rachel preceded Acy in death
in 2001.

Acy served in the military for 30 years which took his family throughout
the country. He retired as a first sergeant in 1973 and returned to live
in Loveland.

Acy was a member of VFW Post 41, Retired Enlisted Association and the
Disabled Veterans Association.

He is survived by his son, Terry Delaughter of Spokane, Washington,
daughter Connie Keller of Phoenix, Arizona, two brothers and four
sisters all of Louisiana, grandchildren and great- grandchildren. He was
preceded in death by his parents, his wife Rachel, and one sister.
