Napa, Idaho

A memorial service will be held Dec. 13 for Lillian Roloff Lofsvold of Nampa, Idaho, formerly of Eugene (Oregon) who died Dec. 9 following a stroke. She was 80.

Lofsvold was born March 3, 1923, in Odessa, Wash., to Daniel and Elisabeth Albrecht Roloff. She married Fred Lofsvold in Seattle on July 3, 1952. He died in December of 1994.

She graduated from high school and attended two years of nurse's training. She worked as a registered nurse in various offices and hospitals.

She lived in Denver before moving to Eugene, where she lived from 1984 until 2001.

She was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Eugene and the Southside Boulevard United Methodist Church in Nampa. She received a Lifetime Member Award from the United Methodist Women.

She enjoyed sewing, needlework and spending time with her family.

Survivors include three daughters, Margaret Lofsvold of Nampa, Laurel Lofsvold of Albany (Oregon) and Jean Schwien of Lakewood, Colo.; a son, David of Eugene; a sister, Evelyn Smith of Spokane; and five grandchildren.

Saturday's service will be held at 1:30 p.m. at the Southside Boulevard United Methodist Church in Nampa. Alsip & Persons Funeral Chapel in Nampa is in charge of arrangements.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Southside Boulevard United Methodist Church in Nampa.
