Looking for researchers of the Haenke family of Kreibitz - Thaddaeus
Pergrinus Xavierus Haenke was the son of Elias George Thomas Haenke
(1724-1796) and Rosalia Eschler (1728-1814) who participated in a historic
Spanish scientific adventure that included stops in the Pacific Northwest in
the 1790s. He attended the University of Prague and was a well known
scholar and translator.
