Thanks to Jan! I realize that I didn't give enough info. The town of
Sirociny is in an area on my map of Czechoslovakia, dated 1990, (since
I don't know what to call the area, I will call it a region)...red
letters in the background of the map say" Jihocesky Kraj". It is south
of Prague, and north of Ceske Budejovice, near a river identified as
Vltava on my map dated 1915. The nearest , larger , city is Tyn nad
Vltvou, which is SW of the town in question. I have been told that the
town of Sirociny is still in existence today.
Hope this will be more clear. Thanks again, Jan, for the advice!
