Surnames: Kramer, Kollmann, Vinzenz, Straka, and Bloschke.
These are surnames of immigrants to north central Nebraska (Holt Co.), These
families were part of a cluster migration from Kunas, Bohemia (now Kunejov
Czech Rep.) around 1860-1880. Would appreciate any help.
Kunas, Bohemia is now Kunejov, parish of and a few kms south of Clunek, a
small village, about 50 kms. ENE of Ceske Budejovice (Budweis) and about 10
kms. SE of Jindrichuv. It doesn't appear on most road maps. If you have
knowledge of Kunas/Kunejov , I would appreciate any description, picts.,
stats., or information.
My Kramer ancestors came to the U.S. in 1878, first settling in Holt Co.,
Nebraska. They were Germans from Kunas, G-grandfather was Anton Kramer, b.
1839 immigrated w/ 5brothers: Philip, Jacob, John, Wenzel (Vincel) and
Martin. 2 sisters immigrated. One brother later immigrated to Canada and
Martin movedto Olympia, Washington w/ families. Thanks, Jack Kramer
