Relations between Russia and Ukraine have always been sharp, but now
with Ukraine supporting Georgia and the US fomenting trouble throughout
Eastern Europe vis-a-vis Russia (e.g. wanting to install a missile
shield in Poland, pushing hard for Ukraine and Georgia to get into NATO,
etc. most Ukrainians (especially those located in western Ukraine like
around L'viv) are ultra nationalistic and will argue with you if you
exhibit any Russophile characteristics.
