Subject: [GERMAN-BOHEMIAN] great website

Hello everyone,
I just wanted to share with all of you a website that has helped my research. I posted back in July to the list that I had been looking for a translation to some of the towns in West Prussia. I did have a couple of suggestions from list members and it was from searching one of the suggestions that I stumbled upon this website. It is a website on the county Schlochau.

http://www.geocities.com/schlochau/index.html

It gives both German and Polish names for all the towns in the county. It also has surname link that you can connect with people researching that surname. The most informative is the links to WWII and Expulsion. They both have personal stories from people who lived through the war. I thought others might like to read them.

I would also like to thank the list for their help. I do not post very often, but I read all the posts and usually get some great suggestions.

Thanks,
Alysia
