Isaac Jacob Chodowski died 7 January 1889 Berlin, wife Ernestine Levhofsky. Ernestine went to Oels to stay with her son Dr Salmo Chodowski after the death of her husband. She died 15 March 1906 Oels. Dr Salmo Chodowski and his wife Mathilde Lempert had a son Max born 16 Nov 1863 Oels (Olesnica). Max went to the US and stayed with his auncle Dr Abraham David Chodowski and his wife Henriette Chaim. The other son of Issac and Ernestine was Adolf Treitel Chodowski who married Fanny Phillips in the Great Synagogue London, they migrated to New Zealand and thence Australia.
