I have ancestors who came from Germany to Buffalo, NY. Following is
there info:

Charles WEISS, b. about 1840, probably in Buffalo, parents from Germany
married to Elizabeth SMITH who was born in Germany.
Son: Charles or Karl WEISS, b. 3 Aug 1862 in Buffalo, d. 2 Nov
1926 in Buffalo
married to Anna WINKLER, b. 28 July 1863 in Buffalo,
daughter of
John WINKLER b. in Germany

John BAEUMLER b. 25 July 1835 in Parkstein, Oberpfalz, Bavaria, d. 11 May
1903 in Buffalo
married to Louisa ZIMERMANN, b. July 1831 in Leitzweiler,Birkenfeld,
Koblenz, Rhineland-Pfalz, Germany,
d. 7 Dec.1893 in Buffalo,
daughter of Joseph ZIMMERMAN & wife Margareth. Margareth died in
Buffalo.

Caspar SCHMIDT, b. 10 Apr 1835/36 in Germany, d. 17 Oct 1907 in Buffalo, son
of Stephen SCHMIDT & Margaret Lang
married to Rosina HEPFEL b. 15 Apr 1836 in Germany, d. 6 Aug
1907 in Buffalo
daughter of John & Margaret HOEPFL.
