I am having trouble getting my messages sent. If I turn on HTML I get a
message to turn it off but when I turn it off and send the message I never
see it hit the list. I have seen a lot of messages this week so I don't
know what I am doing wrong.
Thanks,
Tonnia Carr

Subject: [Ger-Sur] Rickert/Righart
Hello-
My Name is Jeff Rickert and I am interested in finding out anything on my
ancestor, Henry RICKERT/RIGHART. This is what I know:
Henry came to America on September 19, 1749 on the ship Patience which
landed in Philadelphia. The ship was from Rotterdam, by way of Cowes,
England. The passengers on board were from the Palatinate and Wuertemburg.
Henry's name was written down as "J. Henry Righart." Interestly, another
man traveled on that same ship, named "Jacob Richart", although I don't
think/know that they are related. Henry settled in Bucks Co. PA.
Henry married Catharine FREED/KINZIG in 1751 and they had a son named Daniel
RICKERT (notice the spelling difference). Henry died in Bucks County, PA in
1808. Daniel was born in 1753.
So that is the basic information. Does anyone have any idea about his home
in Germany? Any clues whatsoever would be much appreciated. Thanks.
Jeff Rickert
