Karl
Here is the information that I have but it may not be totally correct. I
have his name as William Benjamin Ludwig , B. August 1834 in Prussia. His
father was born in Prussia and mother was B in Saxony. Than in another area it
said that his name was William L. Ludwig. They both gave Birth date as Aug
.1834. He applied for the first half of US citiznship but did not do the
second paper. I have read that he was a stole away on a boat to America , but I
believe he may have went to Canada first.
and crossed over the St Clair bridge to America. Thanks for the help.
