HI Bill ---for what it is worth--and I am not sure it is worth anything to you---there are Behnke's in CT. I was a freshman ( 1964) when a Peter Behnke was a senior --we were both in the band--and they lived in East Hartford . There is a P Behnke in West Hartford in our local phone book. I have no idea if it is the same person. There is a Richard Behnke in Durham, CT, All are within a 15 minute drive so there may be a connection to the 2 men.

Not sure if this is helpful in any way but Behnke is not a common name so I thought I would pass on the info.
