Subject: [GER-TEX] Fritz family of Fredericksburg

Hello, Listers-
I just signed up for the list yesterday, and already I'm really glad I did.
If anyone has Fritz information they would like to share, I would love to
exchange information. My g-g-g-grandfather was Kasper Fritz, and his wife
was Elise Staudt. I have much more information on Jacob Fritz (Kasper's
son and my g-g-grandfather) and his descendants than I do on Kasper
himself, and I'm glad to know there are people out there who have more
information on him.

Patsy, thank you for posting this. My wife's Fritz ancesters are buried in
a mass grave at New Braunfels. Only her g-g-grandfather, Kasper, age 9,
survived and he was taken in by the John Blank family and brought to
Fredericksburg. I had hoped the family might be listed in the petition, but
not so.

This was my first visit to the Victoria site but I will go back again. It
is a beautiful site and I have added it to my Favorite list.
