William F. Redman obit

William Frederick Redman, 75, died at 2:30 p.m. Sunday, May 2 (1948) in
the Bailey Clinic-Hospital (Ballinger, Runnels Co., TX) following a
brief illness.

Born in Germany in 1873, decedent came to the United States with his
parents in 1874. Te family moved to Miles in 1903 and after one year
moved to the Rowena community where they made their home the past 44
years. Mr. Redman held membership in the Ballinger Masonic Lodge.

Funeral services were held at Zoar Evangelical and Reformed Church,
Rowena (Runnels Co., TX), Tuesday morning, Rev. Frank Lammert
officiating. The Miles Masonic Lodge was in charge of rites at the
graveside in the Rowena Protestant Cemetery.

Survivors besides the wife (Anna Neidig) include three sons, Gus R.
Redman, Norton; Fritz W. Redman, Winters; Alvin K. Redman, Rowena; three
daughters, Mrs. Alfred Rose, Bronte; Mrs. Wesley Urbantke and Mrs.
Bernhard Urbantke, both of Rowena; 25 grandchildren and two great
grandchildren.
