Hi Gloria. Mrs. R. B. Battaglia and I were co-editors of the Our
Heritage Quarterly during the late 60's and early 70's. She has been
deceased now for several years. Our Heritage is the quarterly for
the San Antonio Genalogical and Historical Society. They still
publish it today. I have copies of Our Heritage from those
years. In the book "A New Land Beckoned" by William and Geue 1966, I
find Anna and Martin Zollner arrived on the ship Georg Dillus in
1845. That's all the info listed since these were just lists.
In Our Heritage 13-2, page 77, it shows only Anna Zollner. The lines
above this show Jose Heinrich Zollner and wife Wilhelmine, nee
Kusser, and son Friedrich from Rabenscheid, Nassau. Anna is on the
next line but can't determine if she is included with the others;
there is no listing of her origin. I see that the next line has a
Jost Heinrich Green and wife Catarina, nee Theiss also from
Rabenscheid, Nassau.
I do not find a Zollner on pages 20-21 of the 13-1 issue. This could
have been a mistake. Hope this helps. Let me know if I can be of
further help. Many of the larger libraries probably have the Our Heritage.
