I have Bodes in my husband's family, but only have very sketchy info. What
I have is:
Per the 1900 Bexar County Census:
Henry Bode was born July 1840 in Germany, immigrated in 1860. Wife Louisa
born Jan 1853 in Tx, had 9 children, 7 living. Married 27 years. Children
listed are Sophia, Hattie, Louisa, Alma, and Emma, all born in Texas.
>From family stories, Louisa's name was Louise Theodora. They had another
daughter, Hedwig Anna born 6/14/1882 in Tx, died 09/1962 in San Antonio.
Hedwig married William E. Fulton about 1910 (b 05/01/1882 TX, d 04/09/1968
TX).
They had 2 children William Donald and Irma.
In 1910, Louise and Emma Bode are living with the Fultons in El Paso TX.
Could this be part of your family? If so, I'm very interested in any info
you have.
Debbie

There is an old post about Bode/Radetzsky. This refers to Robert Bode
(1823-1902) and his wife Johanna Radetzsky (1828-?). They came to Texas in
1855 and eight of their eleven children survived infancy. Only the first was
born in Germany; all the others were born in Texas.
If anyone has information about them or ancestors, please let me know.
