I suspect that my ggg-grandfather Christian Reeh is buried there in one of
the mass graves. All I have found for fact was that he died in 1846. I
have found an obscure record in the Protestant Church indicating a
"Christian - handyman" who died Aug 6, 1846, and seems to fit the evidence I
have been able to collect. This was shortly after Elisabeth Peter nee Reeh
was buried there as part of the cemetery dedication I believe. This was a
pretty turbulent time for them, and records are in some cases, pretty
sketchy. If anyone runs across any info in this area, let me know. I also
am direct descendant of Johann Wilhelm Reinarz d: 10 Dec 1854, in NB, not
sure where he is buried. Also as a point of info, there was a Dorothea Reeh
b: 07 Apr 1843 Bretthausen, Nassau, d: 03 Jul 1845 NB. who I believe Wanda
was looking for dates on.
