Hi. I have just subscribed to this list and am hoping to find
information on my husbands ancestor, Georg Simon Schlemp or his son
Johan Fredrick Slimp. Johan was born 1737 in Kandel, Alsace, Germany.
He died 1807 Wytheville, Wythe Co., VA. Was married to Mary Metz who
was also born in Germany and died in Shouns, TN but was buried in
Washington County, Va. If anyone has information on the above people, I
would love to hear from you! Thanks.
