William W. Hoffman's daughter, Lucinda Hoffman Parker, has informed me that
her father died on January 11, 1998. Bill was a contributor to the list here
not long ago and he wrote notes for Beyond Germanna. A few years ago, Bill
lived in Boulder, Colorado, but more recently he lived in Florence,
Kentucky. He was especially interested in Germanna people in Northern
Kentucky. We will miss his very positive and friendly attitude. Lucinda is
