HI, I just joined this list and am looking for mulatto THOMASES from Va.
I was told that maybe they came from the Germanna Colonies. My THOMASES
settled in Fayette and Washington Cos in Pa. So you might want to check
there. There are individual county mailing list for both of these
counties. I am looking for information on the family of Jacob THOMAS,
Josiah and Henry THOMAS. Josiah and Henry are on the 1850 census of
Fayette County. The census indicates that they might have come from Va
in the last 1840s. I hope this might help with your Pa research and at
the same time maybe someone can help me with my set of Thomases. I also
understand that there are or might have been a connection with the
FISHBACK family. Thanks,
