Thom, John and Peggy Wilhoit were also my 6th g-grandparents, by way of John,
Aaron, Joshua, Albert, Cornelius, Ollie and Mildred! Did I see you are
presenting Family Tree Maker with the Wilhoit/Weaver records at the July
Reunion? I'd love to see it, and hope to be able to go! The voluminous
information you have must be amazing. I bought Family Tree Maker over a year
ago when I was just beginning my search. My mother had never told me anything
about the family histories, and thanks to the Family Tree Maker CDs and the
Germanna Colonies, I've been able to get the benefit of about 50 years'
research in a single year! When I found the Wilhite line on the first CD I
checked, I was hooked! Do you know anything about the pedigree that goes back
to the year 100 AD? Just printing out the kinship report took 92 pages at 10
pt. type! I don't know how authentic the records are, and haven't been able to
find the longest line to trace. By the way, I just got the Family Archives CDs
The Virginia Collection (newly released) today. Haven't had a chance to look
at it yet. I understand the Wilhoit's are the most universally enthusiastic
researchers on all the Germanna families! Glad to be part of the group!
