Here is an extension on the Weaver line that was in my submission in the
Germanna Vol. 98, Issue 33. It is further data that I sent the Weaver
descendant on the 11 children of Mathias "Matthew" WEAVER and his first
cousin, Eleanor WAYLAND. Mathias was born Oct 23, 1772 in Culpeper Co.,
VA, and died in 1829 in Madison Co., VA. He and Eleanor were m. Dec. 22,
1791. Eleanor died May 2, 1855 in Preble Co., Ohio. I had this note under
Mathias:

Mathias's birth date is from Hebron Church records. The date of marriage
is actually the date of the marriage bond. The order for inventory of his
estate was dated 27 July 1829., and handed in 22 April 1830. Their 11
children named. See also the Germanna Record No. 13, p. 33...the will of
Eleanor WAYLAND, which mentions "Dicy MILLER", "Sarah BLANKENBAKER",
"Francis YAGER", and "Elizabeth UTZ". See also the obit in the Canton
Daily Register Mar. 7, 1899.

Here is the information on the 11 children of Mathias WEAVER and Eleanor
WAYLAND:

1. James Henry is, I assume, oldest child. Born Nov. 22, 1796, believed to
be living in Sevier Co., Arkansas in 1857. In May of 1994, I received an
inquiry from Bonnie Hooley of 455 So. 400 West, Lindon, UT 84042. She said
that she believed she was a descendant of this James but lacked proof.

2. Larkin, b. abt. 1798. I had a note that he owned 160 acres in sect. 24
of Monroe Twp., Preble Co., OH. He m. Susannah CRISLER on 26 Aug , 1811.

3. Theodosia "Dicy", b. abt. 1800. I had a note from Rob Pataky, 1103
Autumnhaze Court, Herndon, VA 22070. He lists her first husband as John
PRICE, m. Nov. 25, 1818. He died March, 1825. Her second as Jacob MILLER
and says that she had nine children by MILLER. She died abt. 1880 in
Preble Co., Ohio.

4. Joel, b. abt. 1801. I have a note that he was found in 1860 census in
Palestine Twp, Woodford Co., IL, but nothing on what census revealed.

5. Frances, "Fannie," b. abt. 1803. My note says that like sibling
Theodosia, Frances married a Price; David PRICE on Feb 7, 1825. She may
have married a second time to a YAGER (see above on mother's will). Her
home was in Jefferson Co., Kty. in 1857.

6. Julian "Julia," b. abt. 1807. I have a note only saying that she was
living in Preble Co., Ohio in 1857.

7. Elijah, was b. abt. 1808, and d. after 1857. He m. Frances A. WAYLAND,
his first cousin, on June 19, 1832. He is found in the 1850 Madison Co. VA
census as age 42. With him in that census are: Benjamin F. age 16; Quintus
C. age 11; and Thomas G. age 10. They are on the same page as Benjamin C.
WAYLAND, and Elijah's other two children, are listed in Benjamin's
household: Ann C. WEAVER age 15 and Elijah F. WEAVER age 8. He was listed
in 1857 as living in Monroe Co., MO. Elijah is the only one of the 11 for
whom I have children listed: Benjamin F., b. 1834, who m. first cousin,
Marian Victoria WAYLAND; Ann C., b. 1835; Quintus C., b. 1839; Thomas G.,
b. 1840; and Elijah F., b. 1842. There may have been more.

8. Sarah, b. abt. 1809. I have a note saying that she m. on 2 Oct 1830
William BLANKENBAKER, and was living in Monroe Co., Missouri in 1857.
Ludwig was the son of Ludwig BLANKENBAKER and Susannah UTZ.

9. Simeon, b. abt. 1811, living in Preble Co., Ohio in 1857.

10. Alfred Joseph, b. 10 Oct, 1814. I have a note indicating that my
source, Rob Pataky said that Alfred was a farmer. His first wife, married
on 13 Sep 1832, was Louisa KIRTLEY. His second wife, married on 16 Apr
1871, was Martha Jane SHIELDS. Alfred died on March 7, 1899 in Bryant,
Ill, and is buried in Wright Cemetary there along side his two wives and
his son, Abraham. He said that Abraham was the grandfather of Pershing,
who lived in Decatur. Sylvester WEAVER is buried there also.

11. Elizabeth, b. 10 Oct, 1814, twin sister of Alfred. I had a note that
she married an UTZ, and was living in Preble Co., Ohio in 1857. She died
Oct. 2, 1882, and is buried in the Twin Chapel Cem. in Preble County.

I hope that the above is of help and would appreciate any additions and
corrections.
