Donna has noted that she descends from Daniel Rector, the son of John Rector
and the grandson of Jacob Rector, the immigrant. Since John Rector was
married twice, the analysis is that the mother of Daniel was more likely to
be Catherine (Taylor) Robinson [but not proven]. The best thinking on this
very confusing subject is that only John (John, Jacob) is the son of Anna
Catherine Fishback.

An analysis was originally made in Beyond Germanna based on the work of John
Gott and John Alcock. I believe that at least one note here has been devoted
to the subject. If not, I could do one in the future.
