My ancestor, CHRISTOPHER BUSH, b. abt 1730, Holland or Germany; d. 16
Jan. 1813, Elizabethtown, Hardin Co., KY. He m. in VA, Hannah _____.
Depositions made in Hardin Co., KY say he was German, and that he was in
KY by 1780, having traveled with WILLIAM "Indian Bill" HARDIN down the
Monongahela River to the Ohio River and down to KY. Family tradition is
that he married in VA. the first 3 or possibly 4 children were born in
VA or NJ?; the others were born in Hardin Co., KY. He had 9 children
that we know of, and they were:

WILLIAM BUSH (1763-1840), m. ELIZABETH/or ELIZA RHOADS
SAMUEL BUSH (1772- ), m. MARGARET MILLER
HANNAH BUSH (my ancestor) (1777-1856), m. ICHABOD RADLEY
ISAAC BUSH (1779- ), m. (1) (unknown); m. (2) SARAH/SALLIE ______.
RACHEL BUSH (1782- ), m. SAMUEL SMALLWOOD
ELIJAH BUSH (1784-1851), m. (1) NANCY BRUCE; m. (2) JANE GITTINGS
SARAH BUSH (1786-1869), m. (1) DANIEL JOHNSTON; m. (2) THOMAS
LINCOLN (father of Pres. Abraham Lincoln)
CHRISTOPHER BUSH, Jr. (1790-1854), m. MARY/POLLY GOODIN
JOHN BUSH, (1793- ), m. (1) CHARLOTTE CATHERINE THORP; m. (2)
PEGGY GLENN.

(all above marriages were in Hardin Co., KY.)
