I have a William Hicks from VA that died May 1781 VA, parnets unkn
his wife was Agnes ?
William was father of James Hicks born 1778 VA died Scotland Knox Kty
he was married to Mary born 1789 NC died 1859 Scotland Knox Co Kty and
2nd wife was Polly
James and Mary had son Willis R Hicks born 1807 Christian Co Kty he
married Elizabeth Roberts born 1810
Willis and Elizabeth had John Davis Hicks c 1829 Mo he married on 2 Nov
1848 to Elizabeth born c 1834
John Davis Hicks and Elizabeth had Mary Elizabeth Hicks c 1855 Round
Grove Marion Co Mo died 30 March 1888 Scurry Kaufman TX on 15 Aug 1875
she became the 2nd wife of Andrew Collison Vener born 14 May 1844
Shelby Bethel Mo died 19 Dec 1924 Dallas, CW Vet for Union
About 1900 he and his family moved to Tx and lived in Ksaufman and
Henderson Co. the family moved from Athens, Henderson Co to Dallas in
1910.
