On a recent trip to Virginia, I drove up to Winchester to visit the Opequon
Cemetery, where my ancestors, William and Barbara Hume Hoge are buried.
William and Barbara were also part of the Jost Hite group. There is an
Ordinary that belonged to one their sons, I think William, Jr., that is
within site of the graveyard, it's vacant at this time.

On the highway into Winchester, there is an Historic Landmark just above the
Opequon Creek telling about Jost Hite's expedition and about his home, which
is still standing and very beautiful!

I haven't received my pictures yet, but when I get them, I'll send to George
for posting in his Photo Gallery.
