Hello, My name is Carlton H. Weakley, I think I can help with one of the
Robinsons. I am a descendant of the union of Jacob Weekley and Elizabeth
Robinson. I would be interested in trading information. Most of our tree is
the result of sharing among other family members and although not sourced to
Dar standards it is very accurate. My father deceased in 1995 knew of this
union from his childhood. Elizabeth is my oldest known Grandmother. I would
be especially interested in any other information concerning unions between
these families if they exsist. This Germanna site is tied very deeply with
my family. Jacob Weekley was b.1743in Monongalia Shenandoah County
Virginia and died May 10, 1824. He married Elizabeth Robinson 1764 in
Shenandoah County Virginia. She was born 1750 in Virginia and died April 9,
1821 in Shenandoah County Virginia. Jacob is reported to have been Rev
soldier (this requires some more work) and they had 15 children by our
count. He left a will recorded May 10 1825 in Woodstock Shenandoah County
Virginia naming children and family members. He was a property owner and
looks to have been pretty well to do. Thanks in advance Carlton
