Have I chatted with you before????? Mine is Littleton Taylor also!!! His
wife's name was Ann and their daughter Anne married Abraham Hoffman. Abraham
and Anne's home was/is in Haywood Virginia and Hoffmans still live in the
home----pg. 142 of Vee Dove's book, Madison County Homes. My lineage is from
two of their sons, John Marshall Hoffman and Henry Powell Hoffman--2 of John
M.'s daughters married Henry Powell Hoffman's two sons--one set are my
grgrandparents.
Littleton served a year in the Revolutionary War--I had thought he was only
on the Culpeper County Lists--proved lineage for a Supplemental for DAR on
him, which was very easy.
Would love to hear from you--seldom do I find anyone from our Littleton ......
