John, you can go to any of the 44 pages of John's notes at the
web site and use the "search" utility at the top of each page.
The results will give you any page on which your search word
or phrase is found, but just on John's pages, not anywhere else
at Rootsweb or on the net.

You can start with Page 1 at:

http://homepages.rootsweb.com/~george/johnsgermnotes/germhist.html

Each of the 44 pages also has clickable links to all the other pages, so
navigation around is fairly easy.

Have fun,
SgtGeorge

(P.S. Just a subtle hint to everyone: When replying, PLEASE quote
back just enough of the original email to identify the subject; do NOT
quote back ALL of a lengthy email. Also, please remember to change
the Subject: line to reflect your actual subject. Leaving the original
Subject: line intact in the reply most always does NOT reflect the
subject of the reply. Thanks.)
