Adam Yager, Sr. was a colonist patriot. He furnished supplies for the
soldiers and received a certificate # 627 issued 19 November 1781 from
Culpeper County, VA.
for three hundred pounds of beef.

Some of his sons and grandsons served as soldiers and patriots during the
Revolution.

There are 18 Yeager/Yagers proven as giving service during the
Revolutionary War listed in the DAR Patriot Index. There may be more who
have not been proven by descendants.
