Dear John
First let me thank you for the tremendous service you give us by your
wonderful newsletter concerning the Germanna Settlers. We appreciate it so
much.
Do we have any accurate information on the landing of the Capt. Scott
ship, captained by Capt. Tarbot, and their landing at Tappahannock. The
Germans must have believed they were in Pennsylvania, rather than Virginia.
Do we have any information that any of the 1717 Colony descendants have
gained about this period of time in our history? I am sure that many of our
cousins and friends of the Germanna people would benefit greatly from this
information.
Also, I have a big gap in my Michael Holt1, line when they actually left
the Robinson River area to go to North Carolina. As well as the next few
years of their lives . I sincerely hope that all of you have a blessed
Easter holiday. Ora.
