Manikintowne if I'm not mistaken is a French Huguenaut Settlement in
Virginia that was predominatly protestant refugees from France. Please
excuse the spelling mistakes here as i haven't done much research in this
area. There is a Huguenaut list at rootsweb that you might want to check
out.
