Data from Germanna Record #5, by Dr. Holtzclaw- contains lineage of this
branch of family to grandchildren..
I am a descendant of Hans Hendrick HOFMANN and Anna Margaret, d/o Peter
Johann and Anna Elizabeth (Speilmann) HUETTENHEN. They !mmigrated thru
Phila, PA. 23 Sep 1734 to Orange (later Culpeper) Co., VA. In 1734. Were
members of the "Little Fork Group", second group of colonists from
Nassau-Siegen, Westphalia (now part of Germany) In Virginia Hans Hendreick
HOFMANN became Henry HUFFMAN. Henry and Anna Margaret had 13 children:
1. Tillman*, bc1735, d. c1826, m1.?, m2. Margaret (Williams) FREEMAN , widow
of James FREEMAN
2. John,
3. Mary,
4. Elizabeth (I),
5. Joseph,
6. Alice,
7. James,
8. Elizabeth (II),
9. Susannah,
10. Catherine,
11. Eve,
12. Harman
13. Henry
(order of birth not determined except Tillman who was first born)

1. Tillman* HUFFMAN and first wife (unk) had 9 children:
Charles, Samuel, James, Benjamin*, John, Joseph, Elizabeth, Winifred, Frances.
Tillman had no known children by second wife, Mrs. Margaret (Williams)
FREEMAN.
