It is only "so unique" because the translator did a lousy job. A correct
translation simply reads: I, J.P.K. married E.F on 7 Sep, 1738.
Does anyone know more of or about the/a relationship between {Lutheran)
Rev. William Carpenter and {Presbyterian} Rev. James Kemper? They met in June
1813, Madison Vounty, VA.
