Before you quit the Smith's, my family tree claims to be decendant to the
Martins and Otterbachs through the marriage of Berryman Smith and Elizabeth
Martin (August 31,1785). Elizabeth Martin is the daughter of Jacob Martin,
the son of Jost Martin and Catherine Otterbach. Berryman Smith is the son of
John Smith and Mary Berryman, John Smith is the son of Jarrett Smith, an
English immigrant. John Smith is my brick wall because of the name. There
is so much information on John Smiths that it's hard to know who is who. If
you have any information on this Smith family it would be greatly
appreciated.
